WHERE clause

WHERE condition

expression

The WHERE clause allows you to filter result objects based on a condition. The WHERE condition is evaluated for each input object. Only objects evaluating to TRUE are retained.

Example

SELECT * FROM tutorial WHERE fname = 'Ian'

Returns:
