Gets memory-related statistics.

Syntax

Request syntax:

cbstats [host]:11210 memory

Description

This command returns a number of memory-related statistics, some of which are for internal use only. Others are listed as follows:

Stat Description

bytes

Engine’s total memory usage.

ep_kv_size

Memory used to store item metadata, keys, and values, no matter what the vbucket’s state may be. If an item’s value is ejected, this statistic will be decremented by the size of the item’s value.

ep_value_size

Memory used to store values for resident keys.

ep_overhead

Extra memory used by transient data; such as persistence queue, replication queues, and checkpoints.

ep_mem_used_primary

If this is a magma bucket, this statistic represents the memory usage of the bucket excluding magma. Otherwise, this statistic represents total memory used, in bytes.

ep_mem_used_secondary

If this is a magma bucket, this statistic is the memory usage of the storage layer. Otherwise, this statistic is unused, and is zero.

ep_max_size

Maximum amount of data allowed in memory.

ep_mem_low_wat

Low water mark for auto-evictions.

ep_mem_high_wat

High water mark for auto-evictions.

ep_oom_errors

Number of times unrecoverable out of memory errors occurred, while processing operations.

ep_tmp_oom_errors

Number of times temporary out of memory errors occurred, while processing operations.
