    Using Collections

    Couchbase Server provides the backing data store for Sync Gateway.

    Sync Gateway supports scopes and collections (Default Collections, Named Collections ).

    Practical Limits

    Couchbase Server currently supports up to 1000 scopes and up to 1000 collections per cluster.

    Sync Gateway targets the same ceiling for a database’s custom scope: up to 1000 custom collections.
