The checkpoint command, used by cbstats, provides information on the checkpoint data structure for a specified bucket.

Description

The checkpoint command, used by cbstats, provides information on the checkpoint data structure for a specified bucket, on a specified node. The same statistics are returned for each vBucket, each statistic beginning with vb_, followed by the vBucket’s ID and a colon.

Note that running this command impacts performance.

Syntax

cbstats <host>:<port> [common options] checkpoint

The host must be the hostname or IP address of a node within the cluster. The port must be 11210. The common options must include a username and password, and a reference to a bucket defined on the cluster. For a complete list of common options, see the table provided on the introductory page for cbstats.

The checkpoint command takes no command options.

Example

The following call returns statistics for the vBuckets on the specified node that correspond to the travel-sample bucket.

/opt/couchbase/bin/cbstats -u Administrator -p password \
-b travel-sample 10.143.194.101:11210 \
checkpoint

If successful, the command returns the following information for each vBucket on the specified node.
